Banana Spice Bread

I doubled this recipe and made both. One recipe yields one loaf or 10 average-sized muffins. Heat the oven to 350 F. Grease a loaf pan or grease/line with paper cups a muffin pan. Stir together: 1 1/3 cups flour 3/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground cloves In another bowl, cream 1/3 cup (5 1/3 Tb) unsalted butter and 2/3 cup sugar. Mix in the flour mixture and beat in 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Fold in 2 mashed bananas gently, until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. (muffins will cook much faster; 30 minutes should be enough)
